The Web Poetry Corner - Stephan Hovell - Who`s He ?

Who`s He ?

by

Stephan Hovell

I`m packing up my toys and I am going home,I don`t like those boys all they do is moan. I only came round to have some fun,a brow beat frown within 5 minutes, and I am having none. All they do is fight, over things that are not theirs, yes I can feel the daggers,as I walk down the stairs. Should I return or say that`s that?,when a memory search tells me,friends don`t act like that. Do those boys not know, what`s mine is theirs to share?,or are they only out for themselves, and rest that matter there? I`ll tell my mum when I get home, how things all went down, chin up son I think she`ll say,it`s wasn`t you`s the clown. Maybe I should hang with chicks, but how much fun can that be?,all they do is talk about guys and watch them sappy flicks. I guess that I`ll just bide my time, there`ll be cool mates around,I suppose this happens to each and every brand new kid in town.
